The City of Lacombe is located less than 30km north of Red Deer and less than 30km south of Ponoka. Although technically a city, Lacombe offers a small-town charm with city amenities. 

 Recreation is one of Lacombe's best offerings with walking trails, the Kinsmen Aquatic Centre, Two Arenas, the Lacombe Memorial Centre, plenty of parks and excellent schools. Lacombe is fortunate to have a number of parks, playgrounds and green spaces located throughout the city.
